Hours: 4 hours per week (3 hours delivery, 1 hour planning) Fridays during term time up to June 2025. Sessions run from 5:30pm-7pm and 7:15pm-8:45pm.
Salary: (dependant on coaching qualification):
FA Goalkeeping Level 2 or FA Level 2 Coaching/C Licence AND The FA National Goalkeeping Course: £13.50 per hour.
FA Goalkeeping Level 2 and FA Level 3/B Licence, or FA Level 3/B Licence AND The FA National Goalkeeping Course: £16.00 per hour.
Location: Watford FC Training Ground, Bell Lane, London Colney.
Contract Type: Casual

Summary of your role:
Are you a passionate team player who can plan and deliver our goalkeeping provision for our Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre for two 90-minute sessions at the WFC Training Ground on Friday nights during the academic year.
You will be responsible for the delivery of all elements of the FA’s Goalkeeping Technical Framework for Emerging Talent Centres, working alongside the age group coaches on a weekly basis.
Your key responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Deliver the FA Goalkeeper Technical Framework for ETCs to all Goalkeepers in the all four age groups (U10-U13) over the 30 weeks of delivery.
- Support and develop all goalkeepers within the group to attain the highest levels of performance possible in a safe, secure and supportive environment
- Drive and nurture a positive culture within the ETC. Be a coach who makes the ETC a place where goalkeepers learn, have fun and develop a love for the game.
You Must Have:
- The FA Level 2 in Coaching Goalkeepers, or UEFA C Licence AND The FA National Goalkeeping Course.
- A current FA Safeguarding Children Courses showing against your FA FAN.
- FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF) or FA Emergency First Aid.
The role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check undertaken by Watford FC CSE Trust.
