Hours: 6 hours a week, sometimes this will increase due to planning time.
Day: Monday's only
Salary: £16.75ph

Summary of your role:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults? Do you have a desire to support social inclusion and cognitive engagement for vulnerable individuals? Join our Golden Memories team to deliver a programme that enriches the lives of older adults through meaningful activities. You will lead weekly sessions that provide cognitive stimulation and promote social connections, ensuring a positive impact on the lives of participants. If you are committed, compassionate, and ready to make a real difference, we want to hear from you!
Your key responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Programme Planning & Delivery: Plan and deliver the Golden Memories programme for vulnerable older adults, ensuring engaging, inclusive, and stimulating activities.
- Weekly Sessions: Lead sessions that foster social inclusion and provide cognitive stimulation for participants living with dementia and their loved ones and/or carers.
- Staff Development: Attend relevant training and development sessions to enhance delivery skills and stay updated on best practices for working with older adults.
- Activity Planning: Consistently plan activities that support cognitive engagement and social interaction, tailored to the needs of participants.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the project manager and other facilitators and stakeholders to continuously improve the programme, share insights and maintain high-quality sessions.
- Time Management & Consistency: Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and a consistent approach to ensure the programme is delivered professionally and positively reflects the Trust's values.
You Must Have:
- A passion for supporting the Dementia community and their carers and/or loved ones
- Experience in either working/volunteering with people living with dementia or working/volunteering with older adults.
- A full and valid UK Driving License as well as access to a vehicle
You would ideally have, but not vital:
- Dementia Friends training
- Experience in planning engaging and stimulating activities for Older Adults
